Invitation to Patient Groups to Help Shape the Proposed New Single Strategic Commissioning Organisation for Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin see below:-

All patient groups have been invited to send a nominated representative to take part in a network event to give their feedback and views on the proposed creation of a single strategic commissioner for the County to replace Shropshire CCG and Telford and Wrekin CCG.

The CCGs have organised the event on Friday, 24 January, 2020, from 10am to 2pm, at the University Centre Shrewsbury, Guildhall, Frankwell Quay, Shrewsbury, SY3 8HQ. There will be an update on the proposed move to one strategic commissioner and the opportunity to ask questions and give feedback as well as raise any concerns.

Each patient group across Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin has been sent an invitation letter, either directly or through their practice manager, asking them to send a representative. Due to the venue capacity, there is one place per patient group to ensure as many patients groups as possible have the opportunity to attend.

Patient groups are asked to confirm who their representative attendee is by Friday, 17 January, 2020, confirming their name, patient group, and contact details to -

In addition to the above meeting, which is limited to one representative per PPG, there are going to be "pop up" events to enable patients to ask questions or share their views on the proposals for the new SSCO. These "pop ups "will take place around the two CCG areas over the next couple of months.
