PA Complaints Project
On behalf of NHS England the Patients Association is undertaking an evaluation on complaints handling in primary care. This will help identify best practice and look to identify what support and training in complaints management would be beneficial to general practice, particularly around improving the process and in achieving positive outcomes for all parties.

Complaints are a great opportunity for learning and improvement, and although there has been much significant focus on complaints handling in secondary care, we want to hear from primary care about how GP practices are currently managing their complaints and what support they need to help them make the process easier for patients and be able to use the learning from complaints in their practice.
